Rosanne Michaels
first joined the Cathedral staff in 1994. Since then, she has become
part of the Faith Formation department, and continues to lead programs
for adults.... returning Catholics, Confirmation preparation, and young
adults. She also helps provide Grief and Loss support, as well as
activities for elderly parishioners. Born in New York City, Rosanne
received two degrees in English from Stony Brook University, and later,
an MA in Ministry/Spirituality from Seattle University. She spent
earlier years teaching English in Connecticut, and later became a public
relations writer for a Seattle medical center.
On weekends, Rosanne works with the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday
Life, guiding retreatants through a nine-month retreat. She enjoys
piano, drawing, and her kitchen garden, often overflowing filled with
kale, arugula and collard greens.
