Visiting Choirs St. James Visiting Choirs are accomplished vocal ensembles invited to sing informally in the Cathedral or present a twenty- to thirty-minute concert of sacred music on a weekday (weekend times are not available). Visiting Choirs represent the best of church, school, college, and community choral groups. While use of the organs are not permitted, there is a Steinway grand piano that may be used by Visiting Choirs. Within easy walking distance of the Cathedral are a large number of retired residents who are regularly invited to weekday performances. Ensembles wishing to be scheduled as a visiting choir must fill out this Application Form. All music must be sacred and pre-approved.
