Advent Readings & Carols Cathedral Choir Jubilate! Young Women's Ensemble Schola Cantorum The Very Reverend Michael G. Ryan, presider O come, all ye faithful! Music and readings from Holy Scripture combine in joyous proclamation of the Advent of Christ's birth. The Cathedral youth and adult choirs with organ offer music for Advent and lead the congregation in carol singing. All are welcome, no tickets required. A freewill offering will be taken up during the service. This is an in-person event only and will not be livestreamed. The Cathedral will not close at the usual 6pm weekday time, and will remain open before the liturgy. Accessible entrances at Marion St. & Terry Ave. (northeast corner of Cathedral) and Columbia Ave.-Courtyard (south side of Cathedral). Parking Information - The Cabrini Garage will be open for free Cathedral parking for this liturgy. - Limited free parking (~65 spaces) is available in the O'Dea High School parking lot, entrances on Marion and Columbia Streets between Terry and Boren Avenues. - Street parking is $2.50/hour (free after 8:00pm). - Accessible parking is available on the west side of Terry Avenue, between Marion and Columbia. Public Transportation St. James Cathedral is within a few blocks of a number of bus lines and the First Hill Streetcar.
