Cappella Romana – A Covid Requiem: Music for Remembrance

Cappella Romana offers the rarely heard funeral service for mixed voices by the late Sir John Tavener, with Byzantine funeral chants composed by John Michael Boyer for Sir John's funeral in 2013. Performed in memory of those who have died from COVID-19, these works help us to embrace courage and hope for the future.

COVID-19 Restrictions
In accordance with Governor Inslee's statewide indoor mask mandate effective 8/23/2021, masks are required for all patrons of this concert while they are in the Cathedral. Please note that Cappella Romana requires all audience members to provide proof of vaccination at the door, and entry is not allowed for children under 12 who cannot be vaccinated.


Parking Information
- Limited free parking is available in the O'Dea High School parking lot, entrances on Marion and Columbia Streets between Terry and Boren Avenues.
- Paid street parking is enforced until 8:00pm Monday-Saturday.
- Accessible parking is available on the west side of Terry Avenue, between Marion and Columbia.
- A 24-hour pay garage, Buck Parking, is located at 1123 Ninth Avenue. There is also a small pay lot across the street from the Cathedral on 9th Avenue and a larger pay lot at 711 Madison Street.

Public Transportation
