St. James Cathedral observes the traditional Good Friday devotion of TRE ORE ("Three Hours") with music and homilies focused on the words of Christ from the cross.

This year, Father Michael Raschko will offer meditations on the Seven Last Words of Christ.

Father Michael G. Ryan will preside. Clarice Alfonso, soprano, and Emily Amesquita, mezzo-soprano, with the Cathedral Chamber Orchestra, present Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's matchless Stabat Mater.
