Joseph AdamWe're excited to open the Cathedral doors once again to concert audiences! Our 2021 Summer Recital Series begins on June 23 with St. James Cathedral Organist and Director of Music Joseph Adam.

Program:
- Johann Sebastian Bach: Partita diverse sopra "Sei gegrüßet, Jesu gutig," BWV 768
- Johann Bernhard Bach: Ciacona II in B-flat Major
- Louis Vierne: Symphony No. 4 in G Minor, op. 32

Summer concerts, approximately 1 hour long with no intermission, are only presented in-person and are not livestreamed. Advance tickets are required, and seating is limited to 200. Face masks that cover your mouth and nose are required to be worn at all times in the Cathedral. There will be no ticket sales at the door, and only pre-registered persons will be permitted into the Cathedral.

Concerts at St. James Cathedral
Concerts on the 2021 Summer Recital Series are approximately one hour long with no intermission.

Because of the ongoing pandemic, concerts at St. James Cathedral are limited to an audience size of 200 people and registration is required. Masks that cover the mouth and nose are required to be worn at all times in the Cathedral regardless of vaccination status. For your safety and that of others, face masks are not optional. Social distancing of 6 feet must be maintained at all times between household groups.

Where to Enter; Tickets and Seating
Please enter the Cathedral ONLY at the Marion Street/Terry Avenue entrance at the northeast corner of the Cathedral. This entrance is handicapped accessible. The restrooms are located at this entrance.

Physical tickets are not issued for this concert. Your name and the number of tickets have been placed on a will call list, and you will be checked in when you arrive. Please maintain social distancing while you are waiting in line.

Doors will open at 6:30pm. Please plan to arrive no later than 6:50pm to ensure that you are seated by the 7:00pm start time. Ushers will seat patrons based on the number of persons in each group to maintain social distancing between groups. We regret that you might not be able to choose your own seat. For your safety and that of others, you are asked to remain in your seat once you have been seated and not to move about the Cathedral.

Parking Information
- Free parking is available in the O'Dea High School parking lot, entrances on Marion and Columbia Streets between Terry and Boren Avenues.
- Paid street parking is enforced until 8:00pm.
- Handicapped parking is available on the west side of Terry Avenue, between Marion and Columbia.

Public Transportation St. James Cathedral is within a few blocks of a number of bus lines and the First Hill Streetcar. The #60 bus stops directly in front on 9th Ave. To plan your trip, visit tripplanner.kingcounty.gov (or 206-553-3000), or maps.google.com and search for Terry Ave & Marion St, Seattle.
