Mark Hilliard Wilson, Cathedral Guitarist Twilight and Dawn We are happy to introduce a new concert series featuring our own Cathedral musicians in the intimate space of the Cathedral Chapel, with Friday performances at 2:00pm and 7:30pm. For the first of three Chapel Concerts in the 2019-2020 season, Cathedral Guitarist Mark Hilliard Wilson offers music from the twilight of the Sun King and the dawn of the New World – Chaconnes and Chacareras, Milongas and Menuets, from the palaces of Versailles to the cafés of Buenos Aires. Wilson weaves a tapestry of dances that sing of past glories, lost loves, and the possibility of renewal. The entrance to the Cathedral Chapel is located in the courtyard on the south side of the Cathedral. Patrons with disabilities may enter the Chapel using the stairlift inside the Cathedral, entering the Cathedral from the Marion/Terry or Columbia St. entrance. The 7:30 performance will follow the first Friday Taizé service in the Cathedral, which ends at approximately 7:10pm.
