The Office of Tenebræ

We pray the traditional Holy Week service of Tenebræ (Latin for darkness or shadows), which includes Psalms and the Lamentations of Jeremiah in Gregorian plainchant, and Tomas Luis Victoria’s O vos omnes sung by a quartet from the Cathedral Cantorei. Father Michael G. Ryan presides at the service, which will include a litany for all impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
