Mysteries and Miracles
The Tallis Scholars
Peter Phillips
, director
presented by Cappella Romana

Experience the wonder of miracles through music that stirs the soul. Tracing the life of Christ, from the mystery of his birth to his radiant resurrection, hear storms calmed and demons cast out in vivid motets. Two of Arvo Pärt's modern masterpieces complete the program, shimmering with quiet awe: timeless expressions of hope, healing, and transcendence. Come, and let your spirit be moved by the miraculous singing of our friends The Tallis Scholars.

Program: Renaissance motets by Giovanni Gabrieli, Francisco Guerrero, Jacobus Gallus, Thomas Tallis, Tomás Luis de Victoria, and Giaches de Wert; Arvo Pärt (b. 1935): Tribute to Cæsar and Virgencita in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
