During the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the dedication of the Rosales organ at St. James Cathedral, Seattle, we feature organ recitalists throughout the 2025-2026 concert season. Stephen Tharp, a Grammy-nominated concert organist and recording artist based in New York City, has built one of the most well-respected international careers in the world. We're honored and delighted to welcome him to the Cathedral!

"Stephen Tharp had the riskiest billing, closing out the (2014 Boston AGO National) Convention in the only recital before the entire gathering. Tharp responded with the performance of a lifetime… the whole thing so dazzlingly executed as to emboss itself upon the memory."
