Jubilate! Young Women's Ensemble, the Cathedral's choral ensemble for young women of high school age, has enriched the liturgical life of St. James since the year 2000. This auditioned advanced-level ensemble sings regularly at the noon Mass on the third Sunday of the month, as well as the 5:30 Christmas Eve Vigil, and other liturgies throughout the season. Their recent repertory has included such masterpieces as Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, which they have performed several times with the Cathedral Chamber Orchestra at the Good Friday Tre Ore service, and Duruflé's Requiem. In addition to concerts and musical outreach within the Archdiocese of Seattle, Jubilate joined the Cathedral Choir on their pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela in 2001 and to Rome in 2018. Ms. Stacey Sunde, conductor.
