O come, all ye faithful! Music and readings from Holy Scripture combine in joyous proclamation of the Advent of Christ's birth.
The Cathedral choirs with organ offer music for Advent and lead the congregation in carol singing. All are welcome, no tickets required.
A freewill offering will be taken up during the service.
Accessible entrances at Marion St. & Terry Ave. (northeast corner of Cathedral) and Columbia Ave.-Courtyard (south side of Cathedral).

In accordance with Governor Inslee's statewide indoor mask mandate effective 8/23/2021,
masks are required at all times in the Cathedral, regardless of vaccination status.
- The Cabrini Garage will be open for free Cathedral parking from 6:30pm–10:30pm for this liturgy.
Please write "St. James" on the ticket
you receive as you enter Cabrini to ensure that you're not charged as
you exit. - Limited free parking is available in the O'Dea High School parking lot, entrances on Marion and Columbia Streets between Terry and Boren Avenues.
- Paid street parking is enforced until 8:00pm Monday-Saturday.
- Accessible parking is available on the west side of Terry Avenue, between Marion and Columbia.
- There is also a small pay lot across the street from the Cathedral on 9th Avenue and a larger pay lot at 711 Madison Street.
St. James Cathedral is within a few blocks of a number of bus lines and the First Hill Streetcar. The #60 bus stops directly in front on 9th Ave.
