Public Masses resume

As of June 19, 2020, we are pleased again to be able celebrate Mass publicly in the Cathedral. Per guidelines from Gov. Inslee and the Archdiocese of Seattle, the Mass is strictly limited to 200 persons, with face-masks worn throughout and careful physical distancing maintained.

Because of the strict limitation on the size of the gathering and because so many of our parishioners fall into the vulnerable category or live with someone who does, right now the public Mass will be offered in addition to our livestream Mass at 10:30am on Sundays. We strongly encourage those who are 65 and older, or who may have underlying health conditions, to remain home until it is safe for them to come back to public Mass.

If you wish to attend the Mass, email Maria Laughlin, mlaughlin@stjames-cathedral.org  or call 206-622-3559. Note that priority is given to registered parishioners. Registration is required to attend the Mass.
