Thursday, June 21, 2018.  St. James and Saint Mark's Episcopal Cathedral co-hosted a Prayer and Procession for Families at the Border in response to the crisis over migrant children being separated from their parents. About 1,500 participated including faith leaders from many different traditions. Click here for the album.

Sunday, June 3, 2018. On the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, we conclude the 10:00am Mass with the traditional procession with the Blessed Sacrament. Click here for the album.


Wednesday, May 30, 2018. At the conclusion of the O'Dea Graduation Ceremony, Father Ryan was surprised with an honorary diploma! His father was in the first graduating class of O'Dea and Father Ryan himself is now a proud member of the Class of 2018.


Wednesday, May 30, 2018.  The Cathedral was privileged to host the 93rd Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation for O'Dea High School. Live, Jesus, in our hearts forever!


Sunday, May 27, 2018. Father Ryan baptized 10 (ten!) beautiful infants at the Noon Mass.


Thursday, May 24, 2018. It was a privilege to host the Baccalaureate Mass of Holy Names Academy. Congratulations, class of 2018!

Thursday, March 22, 2018.  Hundreds gathered for the annual Chrism Mass, during which Archbishop Sartain blessed and consecrated the holy oils to be used in sacramental celebrations throughout the year. Click here for the album.


Wednesday, March 14, 2018.  The students of O'Dea High School participate in the National Walkout on the one-month anniversary of the massacre at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.  The students led a prayer service in memory of the seventeen victims.


Sunday, March 11, 2018.  We celebrated the second of the three Scrutiny rites with our Elect, preparing for baptism at the Easter Vigil.


Saturday, February 17, 2018.  Books inscribed with the names of the Elect are carried in procession at the Rite of Election.


Wednesday, February 14, 2018.  Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the holy season of Lent.



Monday, February 12, 2018.  It was a privilege to host the funeral Mass of John and Lois Spellman, who died just nine days apart after more than sixty years of marriage. May they rest in peace!  Father Ryan preached and Father Oliver Duggan presided.  Photo credit: Seattle Times.


Sunday, February 11, 2018.  On this last Sunday before Lent begins, the children helped us bid farewell to the Alleluia at the Noon Mass.


Sunday, February 11, 2018. At the 10:00am Mass, Father Ryan baptized eight beautiful children!


Sunday, January 14, 2018.  At the Noon Mass, children of the parish accompanied the image of the Santo Nino--the Holy Child Jesus--in the entrance procession, and a wonderful fiesta followed the Mass.


Saturday, January 13, 2018. At the 5:30pm Mass, local members of Pax Christi made a vow of nonviolence and received a special blessing from Archbishop Sartain.
