When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit upon his glorious throne, and all the nations will be assembled before him. And he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Then the king will say to those on his right, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” “I was hungry, and you gave me food.” Lord Jesus Christ, on the night before you died, you offered your very body and blood for your disciples, and when you rose from the dead, they recognized you in the breaking of the bread. May all who gather in this place to break bread at your holy table be mindful of the millions who go hungry in our world. For you have said, “Truly, I tell you, as often as you did it for one of the least of these who are my sisters and brothers, you did it for me.”
