MEET THE ELECT!

The Elect are those who, through their own testimony and that of their sponsors and catechists, have been found ready to receive the sacraments of initiation at the Easter Vigil.
 
The Elect of St. James Cathedral Parish were called at the Rite of Election, and enrolled their names in the Book of the Elect of the Archdiocese of Seattle.
 
For the Elect, these weeks of Lent are a period of intense preparation for the sacraments of Easter.  During this time Christ will become ever more fully their way, their truth, and their life.  Let us remember our Elect in daily prayer as we set out together on the road that leads to the glory of Easter.
