The multicultural celebration of All Our Saints is an opportunity to celebrate the diverse communities which make up the Archdiocese of Seattle. Twenty-one different communities participated this year.

Each participating community carried images of beloved saints. San Lorenzo Ruiz...

Saint Pedro Calungsod

St. Charles Lwanga

St. Augustine of Hippo

St. Rose Philippine Duchesne and St. John Vianney

St. Francis of Assisi

Saints of India

Archbishop Etienne shared his experience of this celebration on his blog. Click here to read more.

People gathered around the altar with images of the saints, which were then blessed by the Archbishop.

The saints pray for us and with us on our pilgrim way to God.

As we honor the saints,
let us pray that we may imitate their example,
loving God and serving God’s people.
All-powerful and ever-living God,
source of all holiness,
the work of your hands is manifest in your saints;
the beauty of your truth is reflected in their faith.
May we who aspire to have part in their joy
be filled with the Spirit that blessed their lives,
so that having shared their faith on earth
we may also know their peace in your kingdom.
Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
ICEL 1974
