At the children's Christmas party on Saturday, the children made stars for Epiphany!

The solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord recalls the visit of the Magi to the infant Christ.
It is an important feast because this is when the good news of Jesus Christ began to spread beyond the Jewish people to the Gentiles.

Epiphany is a great day for Kings. And Queens!

The three Kings joined the Gospel procession.

"We three kings of Orient are, bearing gifts we traverse afar..."

The Magi brought gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to the infant Christ.
At every Mass, we bring forward our gifts of bread and wine, with our offerings.
We offer Christ our time, our talents, our selves!

At the end of the Noon Mass, Father Ryan gives the children a special gift--traditional gold chocolate coins for Epiphany!

Merry Christmas and happy Epiphany!
