Welcome to St. James Cathedral! Each Christmas, we welcome
thousands of visitors to the Cathedral.

Jubilate! Young Women's Ensemble join the procession at the Vigil Mass
of Christmas on Christmas Eve.

Children and families join the procession as well!

Illuminated parols (star-shaped lanterns, a Filipino tradition) descend
from the oculus as we sing the Gloria, which takes on special
meaning at Christmas: "Glory to God in the highest!"

During the reading of the Gospel, children bring forward the manger
scene figures for the blessing.
 The
Word is made flesh, and makes his dwelling among us.

"Joy to the world!"

Youth readers and servers at the Noon Mass.
 It
is always a joy to have Archbishop Sartain with us!
