AAt 6:30pm on Friday, March 28, St. James Cathedral dedicates its weekly ecumenical service to prayer for the victims of the tragic landslide in Snohomish County. In this service of prayer, chant, readings, and silence, we remember all those who have died and those who mourn, as well as those who are still missing and the rescue workers on the scene.  All are welcome.

Creator God,
we pray to you for our brothers and sisters in need.
Receive the dead into your embrace.
Comfort those who wait for news.
Strengthen rescue workers.
Give courage to families who must rebuild their lives.
Show us how to be present to them.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
