On the great feast of the Epiphany, we recall how the Magi, led by a star, came to worship the infant Christ.  At the Noon Mass, one of our young people carries an illuminated star lantern in the procession with the three Kings.

On Christmas Eve, the children brought in the figures for the manger scene:  Jesus, Mary, Joseph, and the animals.  Now the Kings arrive!

Young musicians add beauty to our worship.

Youth readers proclaim the good news:  "Rise up in splendor, Jerusalem! Your light has come."

The Kings and candlebearers...

...lead Father Ryan to the ambo for the proclamation of the Epiphany Gospel.

An Epiphany tradition!  At the end of Mass, Father Ryan gives the children candy coins,
which recall the gift of gold the Magi brought to the infant Christ.

After receiving their special gift, some of the children pause at the manger scene to give thanks for the greatest gift of all.  Happy Epiphany!
