On Sunday, December 19, at 7:30pm, we celebrate our annual Readings and Carols Service in preparation for Christmas.  This beautiful evening includes readings from scripture, familiar congregational carols, and wonderful music from our own youth choirs.


Youth readers proclaim the mystery of the incarnation, beginning with the prophecies of Jesus' birth in the Old Testament.


The Schola Cantorum under the direction of Clint Kraus, Director of Youth Music, and Stacey Sunde, conductor.




Jubilate! Young Women's Ensemble under the direction of Stacey Sunde.




Siblings join in singing "Go Tell it on the Mountain."




The Three Kings make an entrance during "We Three Kings of Orient Are."




A grand Gospel procession accompanies the proclamation of John's Gospel: "In the beginning was the word."


The service concludes with candlelight and the singing of "Silent Night."
