An Introduction to L'Arche
On Thursday, May 15, 2008 in Cathedral Hall, we had the opportunity to gather with Core Members and Assistants from several local L'Arche communities.  L'Arche (French for 'the ark') is a worldwide network established by Jean Vanier.  In L'Arche, people with disabilities find a home, and assistants both support them and learn from them.  Above: Bill Herb shares his experience as a Core Member.  A talented artist, Bill created the drawing of St. James Cathedral which will be featured in the program for June 22--Jean Vanier's visit to St. James!
