The Commemoration of the Faithful Departed--All Souls--is the Church's day to pray for all the dead.  The solemn Requiem Mass with the sublime music of Mozart brought nearly 1,500 to the Cathedral on Saturday, November 1. The Cathedral Choir and Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. James Savage, perform the sequence Dies Irae in the context for which it was composed--the Mass.
