At the Noon Mass, the children of the parish join in the entrance
procession. So do the three kings!
Two of the children's choirs, the St. Cecilia Singers and the St.
Gregory Choir, led us in song.
"Then entered in those wise men three, / Full rev'rently upon their
knee, / And offered there, in his presence, / Their gold and myrrh
and frankincense."
Candles and incense accompany Father Ryan to the ambo for the
proclamation of the Gospel.
After Mass, Father Ryan gives each child a gift of candy coins, a
traditional Epiphany custom that reminds us of the gifts the wise
men brought to Jesus: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
