The statue of Our Lady, Seat of Wisdom, returned to the Cathedral
Courtyard on December 29, 2005. A crane lifted the historic statue
into place.
The statue of the Virgin and Child is placed on a block of golden
granite.
The four-ton source stone is raised into position. The stone was
the gift of Chen Ragen and Associates.
The source stone is set in place. Water will flow from the source
stone down a channel, concluding in a reflecting pool around the statue
of the Blessed Virgin.
Architect Stephen Lee surveys the new water feature.
A drawing of the courtyard as it will appear when complete.
