WELCOME! St. James Cathedral is proud to welcome visitors from near and far throughout the summer months. Each week a drawing for a special Cathedral gift will be made from among all the visitor envelopes used. Please write your address on the visitor envelope provided in the pew and drop it with your offering into the collection basket. Thank you for adding to the power of our prayer by your presence in our midst today.

CATHEDRAL BOOKSTORE  Visitors, stop by for a CD, mug, postcard, or other souvenir of your visit to St. James Cathedral!

ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL Thanks to some wonderfully generous gifts this past week, we are now just $22,017 short of reaching our goal for the parish rebate. If you have not yet made a gift, please consider doing so today. The need is urgent as we rely on the rebate to meet our expenses as a parish. This year’s rebate will support our outreach ministries as well as our ministry to young adults. To make your pledge online, visit www.seattlearchdiocese.org/aca.

THANK YOU FROM FATHER WANYONYI Thank you so much for your generous response to Father Christopher Wanyonyi’s special appeal last week. Cathedral parishioners donated over $16,000 to help Father Christopher build a cafeteria for the children of the Cathedral School of Christ the King Cathedral in Bungoma, Kenya, and to provide needed repairs to the Cathedral roof. Your generosity will make a big difference.

PARISH REMEMBRANCE: Throughout the year, because we are the Cathedral Church, we remember in prayer at Mass and Vespers each of the parishes and missions of the Archdiocese of Seattle on a Sunday near their feast day. This week we remember in prayer the parishes of St. Benedict in Seattle, St. Mary Magdalene in Everett, and the Carmelite Nuns of the Monastery of St. Joseph in Shoreline.
