We are a group of Seattle area young adults in our twenties and thirties
who come together to share our Catholic faith. Each month we gather for
a spirituality event, a service event, and a social event. We are always

Friday, July 1: Taize Prayer and Simple Supper
6:30pm at St. James Cathedral
Come to beautiful and meditative Taizé prayer at 6:30 in St. James Cathedral.
Afterwards, we will meet in the north entrance of the Cathedral (closest to Marion St.)

6:30pm in the Rectory Parlors
Join us for our usual third Sunday social following the 5:30pm Mass! There will be
wine, cheese, and good company! We'll meet
in the Rectory Parlors, across the courtyard from the southern entrance of the
Cathedral (here is a handy map).
Saturday, July 23: Mt. Rainier Wildflowers Hike
Meet at St. James at 7:30am
Visit the most beautiful mountain in the country during peak wildflower time! We'll
be carpooling from St. James and hiking in the Mowich Lake area. A National Park
volunteer (and St. James parishioner) will be our guide! IMPORTANT: RSVP

Thursday, July 28: "On the Waterfront" Spirituality Through Film
6:30pm at the Pastoral Outreach Center (907 Columbia St.)
Our film series continues! Join us for some pizza to watch the 1954 classic "On the Waterfront."
This film noir starring Marlon Brando depicts the labor struggles of dock workers in
mid-century New Jersey. It is on
the Vatican Film List
for the values it promotes, especially

Tuesdays: Confronting Pornography Support Group
8:00pm at Cathedral Place (803 Terry Ave)
Has pornography had a negative impact in your life? Has porn ever come between you
and your friends, loved ones, or God? You are not alone. All people are welcome at
St. James' free and anonymous support group group to confront and overcome
habits of porn use and addiction. Meetings take place on Tuesdays at 8pm in Cathedral
