Pope Benedict XVI has declared that this year, from June 29, 2008 to June 29, 2009, is to be a special Year of St. Paul.  Why?  Because Paul was born about the year 8, so we are celebrating Paul’s 2,000th birthday this year!  It is a special time to learn more about Paul, to pray to him, and to read his writings.
