Becoming a Parishioner

We are happy that you are considering registering at St. James Cathedral parish.  St. James is a wonderfully rich and diverse community of people with a history that goes back one hundred years. People come here each week from all over the Puget Sound region and in doing so they build a very rich and diverse community of faith. We trust that in registering at St. James, you are committing yourself to being here for Mass each weekend and to taking an active part in the celebration. Sunday Mass is not optional for Catholics, and with good reason! We need the Eucharist and we need the support of the community in order to live our Christian lives during the week. When you register at St. James Cathedral, you are making a serious commitment to support the life of the parish with your presence and, to the extent you are able, your time and treasure as well.

Registration cards are available in the Marion and Terry entrance to St. James Cathedral, and in the kiosk located in the Cathedral Hall at coffee hours on Sunday mornings.  You may also register at the parish office, Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.

The Vision Statement for St. James Cathedral commits us as a parish to prayer and service in the name of Christ. We hope you will make these goals your own as you register at St. James Cathedral Parish.
