 Easter Sunday 2005. Nearly two thousand people gather around the altar at the 10am Mass on Easter morning.  Lisa Cardwell Pontén sings the sequence from the west gallery during the Mass of Easter. "Speak, Mary, declaring, what you saw, wayfaring. 'The tomb of Christ, who is risen; the glory of Jesus' resurrection; bright angels attesting; the shroud and napkin resting. Yea, Christ, my hope, is arisen; to Galilee he goes before you.'"  Eucharist on Easter morning. The prayer over the gifts: "Lord, with Easter joy we offer you the sacrifice by which your Church is reborn and nourished."  Solemn Vespers of Easter with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament marks the conclusion of our celebration of the Sacred Triduum.
