Citizenship provides immigrants access to higher education, more employment opportunities, and a sense of belonging. Social and cultural integration reduces stress and improves health.
Naturalized citizens earn more than non-citizens, are less likely to live below the poverty level, and are less affected by economic downturns. This leads to stronger, more capable individuals, families and communities.
