CAMP 2010 |

 This year, Choir Camp didn't end on Friday! After taking a well-earned rest on Saturday, we came back together to sing at the ten o'clock Mass on the great feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  We sang the Introit around the font. "Mary has been taken up to heaven, the angels rejoice and praise the Lord!"  Angels fly around the historic banner of Our Lady in the solemn entrance procession.  Singing for the liturgy is what Schola Cantorum is all about.  One of our campers leads the entire assembly in the psalm.  We were able to share the beautiful music we'd learned with 1,000 parishioners at Mass! What was your favorite piece we sang this week?   Have a wonderful rest of the summer, campers.
