Bishop Ignace Bourget, Bishop of Montreal, invites Eulalie with her two friends, Melodie Dufresne and Henriette Cere, to found a new community of women religious.  At first, Eulalie wonders if she should join the grey nuns.  But at last she agrees to start the new foundation in Longueuil.
