Operation Nightwatch

Act justly, love tenderly,
and walk humbly with your God.
Micah 6:8

HELP FEED THE HUNGRY Operation Nightwatch is an interdenominational Christian ministry serving people on the streets.  St. James partners with ONW to provide meals on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month.  We currently need food and supply donors as well as drivers.

Operation Nightwatch is an interdenominational Christian ministry serving the poor and homeless.  Dedicated to serving the poorest of the poor, Operation Nightwatch provides emergency dispatch to shelters, hotel vouchers for families, meals, blankets, and pastoral care for those in need.  Volunteers from St. James provide a meal and sandwiches to distribute to the homeless on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. There are many volunteer jobs including food donation, donation transport, sandwich making, cooking, serving the meal and sandwiches, and cleaning up after the meal.  For information or to volunteer for any of the roles, contact Suzanne Lee at 206-654-4640.

Operation Nightwatch’s meals and sandwiches are provided for 170+ people every night at 9pm in the Dispatch Center.  Food is supplied by Nightwatch supporters, volunteer groups, local churches, Food Lifeline, Northwest Harvest, Dick’s Drive-Ins, Starbucks, and community groups such as Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs. Click here for more information about Operation Nightwatch.
