Today is a special day for twenty-five children and for our whole parish--
First Holy Communion Sunday!

The white dresses worn by the girls today are a reminder of the white garment
they received on the day of their baptism.

Everyone is excited and just a little nervous!

Father Ryan tells the children to remember the 'magic word' and to say "THANK
YOU" to God for the gift of the Eucharist--the Body and Blood of Jesus.

The children light candles and renew their baptismal promises.

The children bring up the bread and wine that will become
the Body and Blood of Christ.

Congratulations, dear First Communicants!
