Christmas at St. James was beautiful as ever. Here, children gather in the
vestibule before the 5:30pm Vigil Mass of Christmas begins.

Altar servers stand ready for the entrance procession.

The manger scene figures join in the entrance.

A different angle on Christmas!

During the Gloria, a beautiful parol, a Filipino star-shaped lantern,
descends from the oculus.

"Gloria in excelsis Deo!"

As Father Ryan proclaims the Gospel account of the birth of Jesus, young people
of our parish bring forward the figures for the manger scene.

Archbishop J. Peter Sartain celebrated his first Christmas with us.
Here, at the Noon Mass on Christmas Day, he incenses the Great Cross.

Cathedral Soloists Howard Fankhauser and Norman Smith sing the psalm:
"Today is born our Savior, Christ the Lord!"

Archbishop Sartain preaches on Christmas Day.
Merry Christmas!
