Nov. 9, 2008 |
![]() On this feast which celebrates the dedication of the Lateran Basilica in Rome, the Cathedral Choir begins the 10:00am Mass by singing Bruckner's Locus iste: "How awesome is this shrine!" ![]() The marvelous "Golden Jubilee" banners are the creation of parishioner Kitty Kavanaugh, inspired by the work of Gustav Klimt. ![]() The banners were carried in procession by representatives of many parish ministries. ![]() The feast coincided with our annual Sacrificial Giving Sunday. Rex Wardlaw and Becky Brauer gave the witness talk this year. Click here to read or listen! ![]() At the end of each of the morning Masses, the servers led the procession to Cathedral Place Hall for the Ministries Fair. ![]() The Fair is both a celebration of the many ministries of outreach, liturgy, and education in the parish, and a chance to get involved.
