Pray for our Elect |

The Elect are those
preparing for baptism at the Easter Vigil. The Church tells us that it
is the entire parish’s responsibility to support and welcome them. One
of the many ways you can do this is to become a prayer partner for one
of our Elect. Pray every day for him/her during Lent, asking for God’s
blessings and guidance. Click on one of the images below to meet our
Elect for 2008. Lord, Eternal source of light, justice, and truth, Take our Elect under your tender care. Purify them and make them holy; Give them true knowledge, Sure hope, and sound understanding, And make them worthy To receive the grace of baptism. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. |
