Arriving for our second day of Choir Camp!

Checking in for another big day
A special thanks to ALL OUR FABULOUS VOLUNTEERS!

These courageous Choir Camp Champs sang the canticle of Daniel
at morning praise.

Deacon David Olsen led us in prayer this morning. He told us about
how St. Paul compared the Church to a body, where every part
is important. We are the body of Christ!

Are you Christ's eyes, to see those who are lonely? Are you
Christ's
ears, to hear the voices of those crying out for help? Are you
Christ's feet,
to run in the ways of goodness?

Practicing for Daniel. Now you see them, now you don't!

Did you ever think you'd be speaking in Latin and medieval French?
Wow!
This song from the Play of Daniel combines both languages.

Story time with Ms. Pepin.

Practicing for Daniel... the Wizards learn to shuffle along
together. Fun!

One of our narrators for the Play of Daniel practices speaking loud and
clear.
The narrations for the Play of Daniel were written by
a famous poet, W.H. Auden.

Dear Mr. Kraus, |
-
Thank
you for teaching us most of our music. Your right. You
really have sharp ears.
- Thanks for everything you do like playing the piano and taking
time to teach us :) I know you've probably heard this before,
but you're really good at the piano. This program wouldn't be
the same without you so thanks for all your support!
- Thank you for making this camp happen. Every year it gets
more fun. Your organ playing is awesome too. It's cool
how you do a ton of stuff here at the cathedral.
- Thank you so much for your time here in Schola :] You do
so much for us and we don't really do anything for you. But I
hope you are very proud of our accomplishments at the end of Choir
Camp. Thank you for all you've done.
- Thank you so much for helping make the St. James Choir Camp
possible. I really like it here and I always look forward to
coming every year! By the way, you play beautifully on the
piano and organ!
- Thank you for helping make Choir Camp possible. Every year I
learn new skills and bond with old friends and make new ones.
- Thank you for playing piano for us. You make all of us
sound better than we already are!

Dear Mrs. Manuel, |
-
Thank
you for all of the Olympic and non-Olympic games you set up for us.
They are so much fun! And it's nice to know that there are
games that we are playing that are similar to games athletes do in
the Olympics. I think games from the Olympics is a great idea!
- Thank you for leading us all in the PE activities. They
were all so much fun. I especially liked using the jump ropes.
We couldn't have done all this without you.
- Thank you for the Olympics and all of the other sports
activities we died. I had a lot of fun doing all of the games
my favorite was the basketball. I can't wait to play more
games tomorrow!
- Thank you so much for helping us stay fit and healthy. I
really like the game especially the potato relay!

attendance! It seems I've seen you every time I've come to
choir!
- Thank you for making us snacks. It's really good, your

we'd be starving. Maybe!
