I led my people on a long journey, through the sea and across the desert. I spent three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish! I'm a carpenter. I took good care of Mary and the child Jesus.It was so crowded around Jesus that we made a hole in the roof. That's what friends are for! I used to be a tax collector but now I'm a follower of Jesus. I also wrote one of the four Gospels. Which one? I wrote the shortest of the four Gospels. What's my name? I am the patron saint of pilgrims, and of this Cathedral. I preached the Gospel to the people of Ireland and I'm still their patron saint! I discovered a "little way" of following Jesus that leads straight to the heart of God! That's why they call me "the little flower" of Jesus. The other disciples ran away. But I stayed near Jesus when he was crucified and stood at the foot of the cross. I worked for peace and justice. My coat of arms gives a clue to my name! We ran to the tomb on Easter morning.
