 The celebration of the Santo Niño, the Holy Child Jesus, is all about children! Here, children surround the image of Santo Niño de Cebu as they line up for the festive entrance procession.  The Fil-Am choir, directed by Carmen Pelayre, bring the gift of Filipino music to the celebration.  Children place flowers around the image as part of the entrance procession.  Following the homily, Father Ryan blesses the images of the child Jesus brought by parishioners.  At the conclusion of Mass, the servers lead the way to Cathedral Place Hall for the traditional fiesta.  Children guide the image of the child Jesus down the ramp into the new Courtyard.  Processions, celebration, food, fiesta, are all part of the traditional celebration of the Santo Niño in the Philippines.
