WELCOME! If you are a visitor to the Cathedral, we want you to know
how welcome you are — whether you have come from another part of the country,
from across the world, or simply from another parish here in the Archdiocese.
Thanks, in part, to the generosity of visitors like you, we are able to
celebrate the Church’s liturgy here in a fitting and beautiful way. We are also
able to offer a wide range of services to needy people living in the central
district of our city.
FLOWERS AT THE ALTAR. are offered by the Deuna and
Lopez families in remembrance of Armando E. Deuna
on this 8th anniversary of his death, and from Holy
Names Academy in celebration of the Class of 2014.
Flowers at the altar last weekend were donated by Jeff,
Melissa, and Connor Williams in loving memory of
Grandpa John Hoyt Williams on the 10th anniversary of
his death.
MEMORIAL DAY is Monday, May 26. There will be just
one Mass in the Cathedral, at 9:00am, on the
holiday. The Cathedral will remain open for prayer
throughout the day.
CELEBRATE THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION. On Thursday, May 29 at
7:00pm, Archbishop Sartain will confirm fifteen youth and adults from our
parish. All are invited to attend this special Mass in which we pray for the
outpouring of the Holy Spirit on our friends. Information, Brenda
Bellamy, 206-274-3108.
SUNDAY JUNE 1, the world-famous Santo Tomas
Singers from Manila will sing at the 12:00 Noon Mass

PARISH REMEMBRANCE: Throughout the year, because we are the
Cathedral Church, we remember in prayer at Mass and Vespers each of the parishes
and missions of the Archdiocese of Seattle on a Sunday near their feast day.
This week we remember in prayer the parishes of Holy Trinity in Bremerton, Visitation in Tacoma, and St. Madeleine Sophie in Bellevue.
